The quest and passion for the perfect taste inspired me to build my own distillery which brings into life the absolute sense of freedom.
My grandfather is to be understood as a phenomenal source of inspiration and example, who almost 86 years ago dedicated his life to the creation and production of spirits made of hand-picked fruits. It was at those times, when he launched a very speci c, exceptional and detailed means of fermentation, destilation and ltration. Following his art and example, it has ever since been my vision to be creating perfect and exceptional products made of regional ingredients, pure as the water in the brook of our ancestors ages before, namely 200 years ago, having the exceptionality of taste being better than any other during or bewerage of the world.
It is today that I can say with pride that my vision had been step by step ful lled and the products bearing the brand of ZIZAK are awarded not only within the wider region but equally in all corners of the world.
A very high quality of our products is testified to by certificates of kosherity issued by the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in the Slovak Republic, signed by Rabbi Yehoshua Ahrens of Hamburg.

Even the most discriminating tasters immediately recognize the uniqueness of our version. e magical blend of apple, juniper and subtle comfort of corn produce a surprising synergy which, once tasted, will make it impossible to drink another “Juniper Brandy”. This Borovicka is one of our proudest products within the distillery.

The secret to our quality lies in a few key elements of production: All core ingredients used in our mash and fermentation come from certified, local producers — with whom we maintain close quality-control relationships.
Our long-term motto has been adhering to the use of natural ingredients, while strictly avoiding and completely excluding additives, chemicals, arti cial colors. No foreign or questionable elements ever come in contact with our final product.
Last but not least is the artisan distillation process which to a signi cant degree culminates
in the speci c execution our recipes — resulting in the irreplicable Zizak taste.
